Engineering, Rehabilitation and Extension of Cameroonian Water Supply Systems (Phase 1 - T1)

The project aims to engineer and rehabilitate water supply systems within the whole country. The contract is divided into 5 phases
Bogo
New system including:
- - Engineering of 3 boreholes (5 + 18 + 10 m³/h).
- - Engineering of a chlorination station.
- - Design of a 4km of HDPE delivery main OD 160 - SDR 11.
- - Engineering of a 200 m³ elevated storage tank (concrete, 15 + 5 m).
- - Design of a 14km HDPE distribution network.
- - Engineering of the operator’s office for billing and revenue collection.
Douala Wouri
Rehabilitation works including:
- - Engineering for replacement of a 30 years old ductile iron pipe under the Wouri bridge (720 m, HDPE OD 400 SDR 11)
- - Design of a 420m ductile iron OD 500 pipe along one of the busiest streets of the city to reinforce the primary network
- - Rehabilitation engineering of a 2,550 m³/h pumping station in Ndogbong (pumps, pipework, electrical control panel, transformer sub-station and MV underground power cable).
Jikejem-oku
New system including:
- - Engineering of a river weir.
- - Engineering of a sedimentation tank.
- - Engineering of a chlorination station.
- - Engineering of 5 break pressure tanks.
- - Design of a 7 km HDPE distribution network.
- - Engineering of an operator’s office for billing and revenue collection.
Maroua
Rehabilitation works including:
- - Engineering of a borehole (140 m³/h)
- - Engineering of a chlorination station
- - Replacement design of 7 km of main pipes in the city (to reduce leakages)
Mbankomo
New system including:
- - Engineering of one borehole (35 m³/h).
- - Engineering of a chlorination station.
- - Design of a 2.5 km of HDPE delivery main OD 160 - SDR 11.
- - Engineering of one 200 m³ concrete reservoir.
- - Design of a 13 km HDPE distribution network.
- - Engineering of an operator’s office for billing and revenue collection.
