Densification of Drinking Water Supply Networks (C1)

The Project consists of the laying of 200 km of tertiary distribution networks, including the installation of valves, washouts and air chamber valves in 11 cities across Cameroon. It also includes the construction of the Maroua University Drinking Water Supply System as well as the extension and densification of the drinking water supply systems in Banyo and Garoua cities.

Bafoussam

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 17 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90, OD 110 and OD 160 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 1 air valve chamber.

 

Banyo

Rehabilitation works including:

  •  - Engineering of a new raw water intake
  •  - Rehabilitation engineering of the treatment plant and extension of its capacity (80 m³/h)
  •  - Rehabilitation engineering of the reservoir

 

Bélabo

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 7.25 km of HDPE OD 63 and OD 90 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 7 washouts
  •  - Engineering of 2 air valve chambers.

 

Buea

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of HDPE OD 63, OD 90 and OD 110 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 6 washouts
  •  - Engineering of 4 air valve chambers.

 

Douala

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 72 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90, OD 110 and OD 160 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 55 washouts
  •  - Engineering of 35 air valve chambers.

 

Garoua

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 20 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90, OD 110 and OD 250 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 1 meter-chamber
  •  - Engineering of a borehole with 100 m³/h capacity.
  •  - Engineering of a chlorination unit.

 

Limbe

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 7.7 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90 and OD 110 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 3 washouts
  •  - Engineering of 2 air valve chambers.

 

Maroua University

New system including:

  •  - Design of 3 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90 and OD 160 pipes
  •  - Engineering of a borehole (50 m³/h)
  •  - Engineering of a chlorination unit
  •  - Engineering of an elevated tank in reinforced concrete (300 m³).

 

Maroua Extension

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 9.6 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90 and OD 110 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 1 air valve chamber.

 

Nkongsamba

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 12 km of HDPE OD 63 and OD 90 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 2 washouts
  •  - Engineering of 1 air valve chamber.

 

Yaoundé

Densification of the distribution network:

  •  - Design of 40.6 km of HDPE OD 63, OD 90, OD 110 and OD 160 pipes
  •  - Engineering of 16 washouts
  •  - Engineering of 9 air valve chambers.
